The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Sealed-Blok™ Self-retracting lanyards contains a patented concept that separates components such as the motor spring and the brake from foreign substances such as grease, moisture and dirt. In addition, it features a patent-pending technology that reduces retraction speed, thereby limiting the effects of a released lifeline on the SRL and surrounding equipment. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Sealed-Blok™ Self-retracting lanyards has an IP-69K rating for protection against ingress of dust, high temperatures and high-pressure water, for use in extreme environmental conditions. These lifelines are available as a self-retracting lifeline, a self-retracting rescue lifeline and in an RSQ™ configuration.
