The 3M™ Double-Sided Adhesive Tape 9731 is a high-performance, 140 µm thick tape with a silicone adhesive on the inner side and a 300LSE series acrylic adhesive on the outer side. Adhesive on both sides with release liner (100 µm polyester film, 127 µm PE-coated release paper). High temperature resistance and medium solvent resistance, for materials with high and low surface energy.
Styrkor
• The 350LSE/Silicone adhesive has excellent solvent resistance and adhesion to low-energy materials. The silicone adhesive bonds to silicone and low-energy substrates without prior surface treatment with a primer.
• Silicone adhesives are characterised by strong adhesion to various silicone surfaces. Acrylic bonds to a wide variety of surfaces, including many low-energy plastics, powder coatings and oily materials.
• High adhesion to a wide range of materials
• The high-performance 107 µm PE-coated release paper from 3M offers moisture resistance and reduces edge breakage during die-cutting with hard tools. The high stability of the polyester carrier film (PET) prevents breakage during die-cutting and dispensing.
• Enables bonding of silicone substrates to other high- or low-energy materials
• Polyester carrier facilitates handling and processing
