Double-row ball bearings are not self-aligning due to their internal construction. When using these bearings, no misalignment is permitted. By design and function, double-row ball bearings correspond to a pair of single-row ball bearings. They are designed for high to very high rotational speeds and are used when the load-carrying capacity of single-row ball bearings is insufficient. For the same bore diameter and outer diameter, double-row designs are slightly wider than single-row ball bearings but can withstand much higher loads than they can.

Maintenance:

This bearing is open, which means it is not sealed and must be lubricated regularly. This deep-groove ball bearing is not sealed and is therefore not recommended for use in dusty or humid environments.
