WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: .
ESD shoes protect the operator in the event of an electric shock. They also protect electronic components that may be damaged by static electricity between the floor and the human body. ESD shoes should be worn by workers exposed to static sensitive environments. The EN61340-5-1 standard certifies that ESD shoes allow electrostatic dissipation in all areas. A shoe can be called an ESD dissipater when its resistance is between 0.75 Mohms and 35 Mohms. Standard: EN ISO 20345: 2011 S1P SRC / EN61340
