The linear ball bearing (also known as the ball bush or shaft guide) consists of a polymer housing with hardened steel tread segments to guide the ball sets within the entire system. Lubrication of the linear ball bearings: The Ewellix linear ball bearings and units for shaft diameters of 6 mm and more are supplied pre-lubricated ex factory. Due to the quantity of lubricant and the Ewellix double lip seal (2LS), no relubrication is required in most areas of application, as the theoretical relubrication interval is longer than the shelf life of the bearing. These Ewellix linear ball bearings are lubricated with the high-quality roller bearing grease LGEP2.
